Around $24 million from 521 grants to businesses have been awarded by the state from federal COVID-19 relief funds. The taxpayer funds were approved by Congress earlier this year. The Pritzker administration says there’s $226 million remaining for small businesses to apply for with a deadline of October 13.
Iroquois County businesses are invited to take advantage of the Back 2 Business Small Business Recovery Grants. The Iroquois Economic Development Association is working with Vermilion Advantage in educating business owners about the grant. A Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) is at the Trinity Church on E. Walnut Street in Watseka from 6 -7 pm.
Presenters will inform attendees how to access thousands of dollars for your business. A brief presentation will also allow time for questions and opportunities for one-on-one help.
