River Valley Metro Mass Transit District has made changes to the schedules for three routes. The changes are due to a temporary shortage of bus drivers. The changes affect Routes 4, 6 and 7, according to Chief Operating Officer Ken Munjoy.
Routes 4 and 7 will run every 60 minutes, instead of every 30 minutes. Route 6 is not running its usual schedule. The changes are being made on a day-to-day basis, only affecting Monday-through-Friday schedules.
Munjoy explained, “there is a combination of reasons for the schedule changes. We’re low in numbers for drivers. People are reporting illness and with COVID, we’re left in a bad spot.“
RVM continues to serve its transportation needs and appreciates customer flexibility. rivervalleymetro.com.
