On Sunday around 6:30 p.m., KAMEG agents arrested Anthony L. Boyd, Jr., age 22, and Andre D. Glass, age 23, both of Kankakee. During a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Hammes Avenue in Kankakee, KAMEG Agents recovered a stolen 9mm handgun and 3.7 grams of cannabis from the vehicle. Boyd Jr. was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Boyd was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. Glass was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Glass was additionally charged with obstruction for initially providing false identification. Both individuals were transported to the Jerome Combs Detention Center.
