Hoopeston Police Department reports the arrest of 38-year-old Monica L. Zamora of Hoopeston for aggravated domestic battery with great bodily harm and aggravated battery with great bodily harm.

Police responded to a call in the 800 block for a male lying in the street with injuries. At the same time, police reportedly received calls from Zamora stating she hit him with her car due to a domestic issue going on. The man was taken directly to Carle Hospital in Urbana for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident.

Zamora was taken to Hoopeston Carle Hospital where she was treated and released to custody of the police.
