Two armed robbery suspects are jailed in Benton County, Indiana. 37-year-old Fernando Martinez and 29-year-old Margine Bache were apprehended Thursday night, not long after the Country Mark gas station was held up in Fowler.

Fowler Police Chief Dennis Rice reports witnesses told investigators Martinez entered the store a little before 10 pm and displayed a handgun. After taking a few packs of cigarettes, he fled in a white car driven by Bache.

No cash was taken and no one was injured.

The get-away vehicle was spotted a few minutes later in Fowler. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident near their residence in Fowler.

Police officers from Otterbein, Oxford, Boswell and the Benton County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the investigation and arrest of the suspects.
