Sheriff’s Police in Benton County, Indiana and officials with the Federal Aviation Administration were investigating the cause of a helicopter crash in Benton County.

A helicopter went down Tuesday morning in northwest Benton County near County Road 500 West. That’s’ about 3/10 of a mile north of US 41, near Earl Park, near the Newton-Benton county line.

Emergency responders reported the pilot suffered minor injuries to his face and refused treatment.
