Kankakee County’s Criminal Justice Committee meeting (Wed) revealed information troubling State’s Attorney Jim Rowe.
Rowe is voicing his opposition about news that former S-A Jamie Boyd is under consideration for a position in the County’s Public Defender’s Office.

Rowe said the last election says “it’s time to move on” and hiring Boyd and putting him back on the payroll is “a move backwards.” Such move, Rowe said, is not being transparent nor accountable to the people.

Rowe urges other people to speak out when they see/hear something that’s not right.
