The former Columbine High School Principal will be the keynote speaker at the Bourbonnais Township Park District’s Emergency Preparedness Leadership program next week.

Frank DeAngelis was serving as principal when the mass shooting occurred at Columbine on April 20, 1999. He will be talking about the event, the response, and the aftermath including the road to recovery.

The program will run from 8:30am-4:00pm on March 29th at the Kankakee Hilton Garden Inn’s conference center. Registration is required and the cost is $129 per person. For more information or to register, go to btpd.com.
