The Illinois Department of Employment Security’s latest report says the jobless rate for Vermilion County has gone back down from 8.6 percent in January to 7.2 percent in February.
This comes after the previous report showed the unemployment rate jumping from 7.3 in December to 8.6 in January.
Several other local counties saw drops including Iroquois going from 7.9 to 6.3, Kankakee from 8.2 to 6.6, and Ford from 7.5 to 6.1.
