A man is dead after a shooting this (Tuesday) morning in Pembroke Township.

Kankakee County Sheriff's Police confirm the shooting The shooting occurred at a home in the 11000 block of East 7000S Road, near the Illinois-Indiana state line.

Authorities including police and Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner were called to the scene shortly after 7 am.
