A tip from an Indiana Task Force looking into computer crime led to an Iroquois County investigation and the arrest of 55-year-old Mark Oberloh of Sheldon.

Oberloh was jailed in Watseka (Wednesday) charged with Possession of Child Pornography and 2-counts of Reproduction of Child Porn.

The Class X felony offenses will find Oberloh appearing in Iroquois County court today.

The Sheriff’s Department and the Office of Illinois Attorney General with assistance from Sheldon and Watseka Police executed a search warrant at a Sheldon residence.

Investigator Eric Starkey said digital evidence was found. Oberloh was taken into custody without incident.
