A woman was found dead Wednesday morning following an apparent ATV wreck. Indiana conservation officers were called at 6:40 a.m. after a man found his wife underneath an ATV in a pond. Investigators discovered the body of 53-yr-old Denise Fabian, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
It is believed sometime between 5 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Fabian left her home on a four-wheeler, possibly to look for a family pet. While riding on the four-wheeler she went down a hill behind her residence toward a pond. Due to brush blocking a trail, she attempted to turn around by pulling the fourwheeler up a steep incline. The steep angle of the incline caused the four wheeler to roll over backward into the pond, pinning her underneath.
