A traffic stop for speeding on I-57 (Saturday) resulted in a drunk driving arrest. 47-year-old Shanna McGuire of Champaign showed signs of impairment during the stop in Iroquois County. McGuire was also arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. And additional citation was for speeding and following too closely.

Sunday – a trooper observed a motorist cross the centerline several times while southbound on I-57 in Iroquois County. 47-yr-old Ronald Greenwood of Benton Harbor, MI was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for illegal transportation of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and improper lane usage.
