34-year-old Zach Wright was arrested in Rensselaer (Wednesday) he allegedly stole a woman's car with a child inside the vehicle.  Charges against Wight include robbery, kidnapping, and criminal confinement.  Police responded to an alert that the car was stolen from the woman after she refused to give the man a ride when requested.  Wright allegedly threw the woman to the ground when  she got out of the car to bring a child into a residence.   Wright was identified and taken into custody after crashing the car at a nearby hospital.  The baby, inside the vehcile, was not injured.
