The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the Northfield Square Mall is being called another success.  Saturday, approximately 1,000 pounds of unwanted prescription meds were turned in for disposal in Kankakee alone.  KAMEG Director Clayt Wolfe extends a thank you to area residents for their continued support in making communities safer.

Iroquois County was also a participant.  Unwanted or outdated drugs were collected at the Iroquois County Jail.
