Convicted-killer Andrew Condon is asking the court for a new trial. The rural Ashkum man is jailed awaiting sentencing for the murder of Jonathan Rubin of Danforth. The shooting death of Rubin took place at a Gilman gas station where was employed in 2013.
The 36-year-old Condon was found guilty of first-degree murder by an Iroquois County jury in late August.
Condon's attorney Ed Glazar Jr. filed the motion for a new trial. The motion cites several errors made durign the trial. Judge Gordon Lustfeldt heard the trial in Watseka.
