A two vehicle crash near Westville this (Thurs) morning killed one of the drivers. The Vermilion County Coroner's Office reported the crash occurred around 7:15 am.

The Coroner's office and Illinois State Police investigated.

Coroner Peggy Johnson said the other driver was injured and transported to a hospital. The victim was a female. She was ejected from her car. The road was closed to complete the investigation.

Westville and Catlin Firefighters and the Georgetown and Medix Ambulance Services assisted at the scene. Vermilion County Sheriff's Deputies also responded.
