East-central Illinois is showing off its prep basketball success again.  Ford and Iroquois County will be in Peoria this weekend for Final Four appearances in respective Class !A and 2A state competition.

Cissna Park's Timberwolves (31-4) meet up with Mowequa Central A&M (32-3) in Friday's morning's 11am Class !A semi-final at Carver Arena.  {* Hear the game on 94.1 WGFA)

The T'wolves were Super-Sectional winners Tuesday at ISU's Redbird Arena with a convincing 76-46 decision over Yorkville Christian.

The GCMS Falcons take a 31-game win streak into the 2A Final Four semi-final matchup against Nashville (34-2).  GCMS (32-2) defeated Pleasant plains in Super-Sectional action at University of Illinois -Springfield 52-37.  Friday's 2A semi-final is set for about 7:15 pm
