The Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce will be searching for a new director. Barbi Brewer-Watson tendered her resignation, effective at the end of March.  She's held the job since December of 2015 and during that time increased membership by 23 percent. 

The 39-year-old Kankakee resident said she's "excited about a new opportunity."
