Twenty-six percent of Iroquois County voters turned at the polls Tuesday for the Consolidated Election. Ford County had but nine percent while Kankakee County shows a near 12% turnout.
City aldermen and village trustees were selected by voters in several area communities.
In Watseka for Ward 2, Don Miller was a winner and in Ward 3 Benny Marcier was top voter-getter.
In Clifton, Randy Gigl, Chris Sifrit and Tracy Mitchell earned the voters trust. In Buckley, Shane Stachura, Ernie Hoopingarner and Ardell Goetting were among the winners in a six-person race. At Loda, five names on the ballot. Winners were Gene Breeden Jr, Jon Boone and Ronda Breeden.
At Donovan, a single vote separated Mitch Arseneau and Mandy Wolfe. The winners were Louwonna Snodgras, Andrew Norder and Arseneau.
The village of Woodland had four names on the ballot. Winners were Alice Huffman, Dustin Styck and Amy Martin.
