Bourbonnais government status remains in-check

Tuesday's election leaves the village board in Bourbonnais alone. The results find no change.

Incumbents Randy King, Jacl Litrell and Jeff Keast were the winners.

The 4th Ward race in the city of Kankakee still finds alderwoman Daneeta Grant-Swanson in place. Swanson was a winner over Karen Farmer with 70% of the vote.  Mike Cobb was a winner in the 6th Ward by a 68-32% margin. 

In Hopkins Park, Mark Hodge was winner for the Presidency over Walter Jones III. 

-- Danville retains Mayor Williams --

Rickey Williams Jr was elected Mayor of Danville in a four-way race Tuesday.  Williams was acting mayor after Scott Eisenhauer left the job for a new position in Rantoul.  Williams defeated former Vermilion County Board Chairman James McMahon, Alderman Steve Nichols and Don Crews.
