Two dead from Georgetown house fire

Two people are dead after a morning fire in Georgetown. The State Fire Marshall is investigating.

The Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden identified the victims as 39-year old Harold Dolph and 69-year old Carolyn Hanburger. The coroner confirms the two victims were related.

Emergency responders answered a call about 2 am to the 200 block of Clark Street in Georgetown. A Georgetown police officer was also treated for smoke inhalation after entering the home to try to save the victims. The officer is expected to be OK.

Four fire departments were called.
