Autopsies are to be completed today (Wed) on the bodies of a man and woman found Tuesday morning in the small town of Hillery, west of Danville. Sheriff Pat Hartshorn said a 911 call alerted officials around 8 am. No identities have been confirmed.

The Vermilion County sheriff's office is investigating the death of the man and woman, whose bodies were found lying near a tree line along the north edge of a property at 322 Western Avenue.

The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation unit processed the scene.

Sheriff Hartshorn said a contractor working to rehab a house discovered the bodies.
