The murder trial of Ashley Garth got started this week in Newton Superior Court in Indiana. Garth is being tried for murder, conspiracy to commit murder and assisting a criminal for the 2019 murder of Nicole Bowen. 

Bowen’s body was discovered March 30, 2019 wrapped in a blanket by a man who owns a property site. An autopsy later revealed the victim had been suffocated with an extension cord.

FBI investigators are scheduled to testify today (Wed). Co-defendant Garett Kirts is also expected to testify. Kirts, already convicted for the murder, is serving a 55 year sentence for his role in Bowen's death.
