Polls are open around the state for Illinois’ primary election. Voting is available until 7 pm. Local election returns air, with summary reports, tonight beginning at 8 pm on 94.1 WGFA.

Winners in this primary will shape the ballot for the mid-term elections in November.

Republican ballots in Iroquois County offer voters choices in all four County Board Districts. There's also a race for the GOP nomination for County Treasurer. Local votes will also determine the winner in the 16th District race for Congress.

Kankakee County voters have a choice for Clerk on the Democratic ballot. There's also a contest for District 2 for County Board.
