>>Flood Watches, Warning, Winter Weather Continues...

Illinois' weather map is a messy mish-mash of watches, warnings and worries about bad weather. The National Weather Service says folks from Chicago to St. Louis will continue to be under an advisory or watch as the fear is about ice and slick roads. But there are also flood watches and warnings posted for most of the same areas, with special attention being paid to the Rock and Illinois rivers. In southern Illinois, forecasts say the length of the Ohio River will be above flood stage until at least Friday.

The city of Watseka is hard hit, again. The Route 1 and 24 intersection on the west side is closed and under water. Several city streets are closed. A Red Cross shelter is open at the Trinity Church. Several people have been forced from their homes.
