Flood advisories for East-Central Illinois

The National Weather Service says Ford and Iroquois counties are under a Flood Warning until 10:45 am Tuesday.

Up to two inches has already fallen in that area and there could up to an additional inch of rain Tuesday morning.
Flood Warning issued until February 24:

Sugar Creek at Milford affecting Iroquois County .Heavy rainfall of 1.5 to 4 inches is likely through Tuesday night with locally heavier amounts in excess of 4 inches possible. The combination of this heavy rainfall, frozen ground, and some snow melt will likely result in flooding. The Flood Warning continues for The Sugar Creek at Milford. * from Tuesday afternoon to late Friday night. * At 500 PM Monday the stage was 10.3 feet. * Flood stage is 18.0 feet. * Moderate flooding is forecast. * Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Tuesday afternoon and continue to rise to near 24.4 feet by Thursday morning.
