NIU Community To Mark 10-Year Anniversary Of Campus Shooting

There will be silence and reflection at Northern Illinois University this week. Tomorrow marks the ten-year anniversary of the campus shooting that left five people dead and injured 17 others back in 2008. NIU says in the decade since student Steven Kazmierczak started shooting in a classroom, thousands of people have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to a scholarship program in the name of those killed and wounded. There will be a ceremony on campus tomorrow.
