St. Anne School Threat Leads To Arrest

On Tuesday around 6:00 p.m., the St Anne Police Department was notified of a possible threat that was directed towards the St Anne High School. This threat was not reported during school hours, so staff was unaware at the time of the report. Upon learning of the possible threat, the St Anne Police Department notified school officials to make them aware of the situation.

After conducting an investigation, the St Anne Police Department made an arrest of a juvenile. The juvenile was charged with Disorderly Conduct (Class 4 Felony) for threatening bodily harm against persons at a school. The juvenile was transported to the Jerome Combs Detention Center and turned over to juvenile authorities.

Classes at both St. Anne schools will continue as scheduled. As an added precaution, there will be an increased police presence in the school district today.
