A Beecher man died in a single-vehicle crash Monday in eastern Will County. 56-year-old Cordell Williams left Illinois 394 at Route 1. His pickup then caught fire.

Illinois State police responded to a crash 7:43am. Williams was transported to area hospital and later pronounced dead. The crash is still under investigations by Illinois State Police and the Coroner’s Office.
