Patrol cars have aged in Iroquois County...some more than 10 years-old and with over 200,000 miles. It’s reached the breaking point, according to Sheriff Derek Hagen.

Hagen told the Finance committee (Thursday) he refrained from asking for car replacements over the last handful of years due to the budget talks. Replacing cars, he said, are now a priority.
