The annual Newton County, IN Punkin Vine Fair starts this next week.  The 97th edition of the fair unfolds at the fairgrounds north of Kentland.  Many of the usual attractions are included, including the Queen pageant Monday evening.

94.1 WGFA will broadcast the queen pageant with seven ladies competing. The pageant is at 8 pm.  The Little Miss and Mister Contest precedes the pageant at 6:30 pm.

Wednesday is Earth Night.  Thursday offers 4-H Night at the Fair.  Antique Tractor Parade and the ITPA & IPL Truck & Tractor Pull is set for 7:30 pm.

Harness racing has been cancelled.
