Illinois State Police investigated a three-vehicle crash Monday that killed a woman and closed down Route 115. It happened at 10:14 am at 7000W Road in Kankakee County.

71-year-old Juanita Tincher of Kankakee died of injuries suffered in the 3-vehicle accident. Tincher died at Riverside Hospital.

Police reported a southbound passenger vehicle on 7000W Road failed to stop at a stop sign. 65-year-old Pankaj Modi of Oswego did not stop at the intersection, and was hit by Tincher’s westbound unit on Route 115. The collision also involved a third vehicle driven by a Buckley man.
