A 19-year-old Danville resident died of injuries sustained in a roll-over accident on I-74 near Fithian.

Jerrell Deshon Hall was pronounced dead just before 4 am today (Thurs) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Hall died of multiple blunt force injuries. He was thrown from the car he was driving.

Illinois State Police report the accident also injured two other Danville men.

20-year-old Jontell James Robinson and a 17-year-old, whose name is not being released, were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

According to a police report, the accident occurred just after 1 am. Hall was driving eastbound on the interstate when the car ran off the road, went through the wires in the median and overturned on the shoulder of the westbound lane. Hall was not wearing a seat belt. He was thrown from the car.

The report said the passengers were wearing seat belts.
