19-year-old Garrett Pawloski of Cullom was killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Pontiac. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston County Coroner's Office.

Pontiac Police reported the accident happened just before 6:30 am at the intersection of Vermillion and North streets. The victim's vehicle hit a utility pole and a tree.

An autopsy has been scheduled and the cause of death is pending toxicology results. The crash remains under investigation.
