The Vermilion County Coroner has released the names of the couple who died in a murder-suicide at an Oakwood truck stop. Both died from gunshot wounds, according to Coroner Peggy Johnson.

47-year old Ella Coffman, of Homer, and her estranged husband, 69-year-old Douglas Price of Urbana, are the victims.

Coffman was at work at the Pilot Truck Stop, just off I-74. It was just before 7:30 pm Wednesday when she went to her car during a break. That's when police say she was approached by Price. Officials say Price fired multiple shots into Coffman's car, killing her. Price then shot himself in the head.

No one else was hurt. The couple recently separated and filed for divorce.
