51-year-old Kelly Burrows of Gibson City is jailed in Ford County and facing up to 40 years in prison. He was in Circuit Court (Monday), now charged with eight felonies for his alleged involvement in making methamphetamine in his home.
Burrows was arrested March 24 after law enforcement agents moved in and caught him and his wife cooking meth. And it was with four children present.
Burrows is accused of making, using and selling meth. He's jailed on a $75,000 bond. The offenses could carry a prison term of up to 40 years.
Burrows is charged with three Class X felonies, including 1-count each of aggravated participation in methamphetamine production, unlawful possession with intent to deliver, and unlawful possession of meth.
The Class 2 felonies include unlawful use of property to manufacture meth, one count of meth-related child endangerment and three counts of unlawful delivery of meth.
Burrows' wife, Marlina, is charged with 1-count of meth-related child endangerment. That's a Class 2 felony. Her bond is $25,000.
Police executed a search warrant at the couple's house at 328 S. State Street March 24.
The DCFS is dealing with the children.
