Five arrested for Sheldon liquor store burglary

Two adults and three juveniles face burglary and theft charges for a break-in at Donahue's Liquor store in Sheldon early Monday.  Sheldon Police and the Iroquois County Sheriff's Department made the arrests Wednesday following an investigation.

20-year-old Drey Watkins and 25-year-old Raymundo Jackson, both of Sheldon, and three juveniles were taken into custody.  The juveniles have been released to their parents.  All five are also charged with criminal damage to property.  

Police reported, four of the suspects burglarized the store while the reamining suspect actged as a "getaway driver."  Investigators said items taken from the store and clothing worn by the suspects durig the crime were recovered.
