The father of two young boys who drowned in the Kankakee River in northwest Indiana(Tuesday)is now facing charges.

Eric Patillo was charged (Thursday) with two counts of neglect of a dependent resulting in death. Authorities say four-year-old Levi Patillo and two-year-old Evan Patillo died after they were pulled from the water in the LaSalle Fish and Wildlife Area, near the Newton-Lake County line. Patillo admitted to using heroin that morning and tested positive for opiates and THC.
