A collision between a pickup truck and a semi-tractor trailer late Wednesday killed 24-year-old Mason Knorr of Clifton.

Knorr was pronounced dead at the scene after his westbound pickup ran into a northbound tractor-trailer at a rural intersection west of Clifton. Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police and the Coroner investigated at 2950 N and 700 E Road. It happened just before 11:30 pm.

Police reported both vehicles left the road. The semi driver was treated at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee.

The crash is under investigation.

Chebanse Township and Ashkum Fire answered the call, along with Riverside EMS.
