The U.S. Small Business Administration has opened a Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Gibson City to help those affected by the August 12th flooding. The Outreach Center will be located at the Gibson City Fire Department. It will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am ‘til 6 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am’til 2 pm.

Businesses and residents in the declared area can now apply for low-interest disaster loans from the SBA. The disaster declaration covers Ford County and the adjacent counties of Champaign, Iroquois, Vermilion, McLean, Kankakee and Livingston.

Customer Service Representatives will be available at the Outreach Center to answer questions
