A 22-year-old Loda man died Saturday when his motorcycle collided head-on with a car in Peoria County. Ian Nemeth suffered blunt force trauma and died of injuries, according to the Peoria County Coroner’s Office. The accident happened Saturday afternoon on Illinois Route 29 and East Riverview Lane.

A news release from the Peoria County Coroner’s Office stated Peoria Heights Police, Peoria County Sheriff’s Police and ISP responded to the scene. Nemeth was pronounced dead at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
