The annual Indiana State Fair opened its gates Friday.  The fair runs from July 30 until August 22.  It's open Wednesday through Sunday and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for cleanup. Tickets cost $13 and children under 5 are free.

COVID-19 precautions are in place for all visitors. Masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals, including guests, staff, vendors, and contractors. If you are not vaccinated, all guests are encouraged to wear a mask and to follow CDC guidelines.  This year the Indiana State Fair is taking additional steps for COVID safety.
