In Kankakee Circuit Court --- Bond was set at $2 million for the man charged with shooting and killing 46-year-old Jess Hackney of Kankakee last Thursday.  39-year-old Ant94.1 WGFAhony Kendrick of Kerrville, Texas, was charged Friday with 2-counts of first-degree murder and 2-counts counts of aggravated battery with a firearm. He's accused of shooting Hackney and two other men at a bar in the 200 block of West Broadway Street in Bradley.

The preliminary cause of death for Hackney is multiple gunshot wounds, according to Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner. Bradley police responded to a report of shots fired just before midnight Wednesday at the bar.
