$25-million to U of I for Ag research
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- The UI will get $25-million for soybean research. Senator Dick Durbin (D) made the announcement on campus Friday. He says the federal grant will allow UI experts to study and improve yields, which will ultimately increase the food supply in Africa. The five-year grant comes from the U.S. Agency for International Development. 94.1 FM, WGFA
