Sheriff’s Police in Jasper County, IN executed a warrant (Monday) arresting three Rensselaer residents for suspicious drug activity. The Rensselaer Police Department and Indiana State Police Narcotics officers were also involved with the execution of the warrant on E. Merritt Street in Rensselaer.

29-year-old Aaron Hovis, 32-year-old Bridgette Hovis and 27-year-old Lauren Marlatt face felony charges of Dealing Marijuana and Child Neglect. All three posted $1255 dollars cash bonds.

Officers located a quantity of processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a large sum of U.S. currency and a loaded firearm. The residence was also covered by a remote security camera system that led to a central-digital recording device.

Investigators revealed four adults, five minor children and a 16-year-old male juvenile were all living at the residence.
