Police say $362,000 worth of chocolate candy has been reported stolen from a warehouse in east-central Illinois.
The Daily Journal in Kankakee reports a manager at Kenco Logistics Services told Kankakee County sheriff investigators the candy was stolen December 17. Officials say the 72 pallets of candy disappeared from the Manteno warehouse.. Plant officials say they first made sure the alleged theft wasn't an inventory oversight.
Police say they're reviewing surveillance video but no suspect information has been reported.
A plant general manager declined comment Thursday.
