The proposed consolidation of Watseka Unit #9 and Crescent-Iroquois school district #249 willbe discussed at aspecial Unit Nine meeting Wednesday evening.  The 6 pm meeting invites the public at the District #9 Office, just west of Watseka on Route 24.

The presentation will include consolidation materials for questions and discussion.  A Feasibility Study was completed outling the current situation for the school boards. The meeting is an opportunity for the public to digest information and make its best decision at the April 2 election.

The study included Student Impact... Staffing...Current Facilities....Proposed Taxes... and Transportation assessments.

The respective Boards of Education for Unit Nine and District #249 are disseminating info for voters to decide.
