Accused Murderer Indicted By Grundy County Grand Jury

Accused murderer Jeffrey Conley of Gardner is facing three more felony charges in Grundy County. The 52-year-old Conley was indicted by a Grundy County grand jury last week on two counts of First-Degree Murder, two counts of Aggravated Domestic Battery, and Involuntary Manslaughter.

The Grundy County State’s Attorney’s Office reports Conley is accused of stabbing 55-year-old Aleshea Raszkowski of Gardner at least 15 times during a domestic incident at an apartment complex in Gardner.  The crime is alleged to happened in the 100 block of East Parker Street August 4th.  Raszkowski was pronounced dead on scene by the Grundy County Coroner’s Office. Prosecutors say Conley’s seven-year-old daughter was present at the residence during the incident. She was released to family members and DCFS was notified.
