A new Acting Director has been named for the VA Illiana Health Care System. Stephanie Young comes to Danville from Michigan. She will lead the operations of primary and secondary healthcare services for Veterans residing in central Illinois and west-central Indiana.

The new Acting Director says providing personalized, patient-driven health care for Veterans is her commitment. ''In every position I have ever held in VA, improving care for our Veterans has been my top priority,'' Young said.

Young is encouraging others to look for ways to improve health care for Veterans. ''Whether it involves enhancing technology, community outreach, expanded services, or refining call center processes.
